Occasionally throughout the year, particularly in the coldest months, we host shows at Whately’s historic Town Hall, located in our rural town center.
Whately’s Town Hall has been in constant use since its construction in 1844, filling a variety of needs over the years including operating as a school. Now newly renovated as of 2018, the building has become a dedicated community space for the town, housing the Whately Historical Society’s museum and hosting wide array of cultural events in its large meeting room on the second floor. The greek-revival style building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and features a refurbished 1930s era advertising curtain as its stage backdrop.
